Details: This gorgeous pendant features a polished Colombian trapiche emerald slice- a rare crystal- in an open prong setting. Mined as early as 330 BC. emeralds were cherished by Cleopatra. The rarest of these crystals are trapiche. identified by their dark spoke patterning. Emerald is said to be a stone of unconditional love and friendship. It is the May birthstone.

This emerald is suspended east-west in a six prong open setting with a wide moveable bale. This piece is one of a kind. 

Measurements: The pendant measures just under 1/2 wide by 3/4 total length. including bale.
